Given that the Mayor appears to have ignored the scrutiny proposals on congestion charging, is this a pattern for his future treatment of the Assembly?

The scrutiny report on congestion charging has not been ignored. All the points which were raised as proposals in the report were carefully considered, and a detailed point-by-point response covering some 34 pages was prepared and submitted on 28 November. I believe that the responses from the Assembly are a valuable part of developing my plans on congestion charging, and will continue to play a role in making my transport strategy a better document.
