I welcome any scheme that could reduce the speed of drivers in London and make our roads safer. I know that the MPA plan to consider this matter in the new year. Perhaps Mr Biggs could forward any information on existing projects and the outcome of pilots to myself and Toby Harris, Chair of the Metropolitan Police Authority. I could then discuss the potential of such a scheme in London with both Toby and Sir John Stevens in one of our regular meetings.
