Answer for Mayor's Question Time

I do regard accountability as very important, and regard my monthly reports and questions as one important channel of accountability. However, GLA officers already spend a great deal of time every month working on answers to Assembly members' questions. We need to bear in mind that we are a small organisation of which Londoners are expecting a great deal in terms of tangible improvements to their quality of life. I am not, therefore, convinced that we should increase the regularity of Question Time and therefore the amount of time officers spend working on questions.
