: I look forward to giving you a full answer to your question in the review that you are chairing in the New Year. The results of the review should provide valuable lessons that will form the basis for any future events for Londoners. The Metropolitan Police will police Trafalgar and Parliament Squares as they do for a normal New Year's Eve. We have been in discussion about the arrangements for making these areas safe and protecting the infrastructure from the crowds. The usual clean-up operations will be in hand, carried out by our contractors, to make the area clear for the New Year's Day parade.
