February 2013 Challenge Board

Agenda papers and minutes for this MOPAC Challenge session are available below.

The Deputy Mayor of Policing and Crime, Stephen Greenhalgh, challenged the Metropolitan Police Service and other agencies to outline their policies on crime prevention and how the aim to address the challenges outlined in the Police and Crime Plan under headings “People, Places, and Problems”.

This month's thematic Challenge Board meeting involved MOPAC questioning how the police and agencies were: trying to empower the public to support the police, boost volunteering, and growing the police family; work with the MPS on the use technology to design out crime; and develop prevention strategies that will combat the crime related to drug and alcohol misuse.
