On 13 June 2014 the Mayor published, jointly with the Department for Communities and Local Government, a programme prospectus for a new £150m Estate Regeneration Fund.
The £150m Estates Regeneration Programme is designed to kick-start and accelerate the regeneration of large estates through fully recoverable loans, helping to boost housing supply. It will help to improve the quality of life for residents in some of the most run down estates in London.
Funding is being made available over four years from 2015/16 to 2018/19 and will be operated as an open competition. This prospectus seeks bids from private sector builders/developers taking forward schemes which deliver a net increase in the supply of housing, with mixed tenures, over the entire programme of redeveloping existing estates.
You can download a copy of the prospectus here.
Enquiries for London bids should be directed to email@example.com
A bidding round for the fund will be launched in early July and expressions of interest are to be submitted by noon on 12 September 2014 to the Homes and Communities Agency. Further details on how to submit an application, FAQ’s and what information is required will be published here.
