This Committee is no longer active and the information on this page is no longer updated.  The work of this Committee has been taken over by the current London Assembly Health and Environment Committee.




The Environment Committee examines the Mayor’s environmental strategies including his Air Quality, Biodiversity, Climate Change and Energy, Noise and Waste Strategies, and monitors their implementation. From protecting London from the impact of climate change to investigating how to cut heating bills and carbon emissions, the Committee looks at global environmental and sustainable development issues in a London context.
