Report of the Executive Director of Secretariat

The Committee is recommended to note the report, put questions to the guests and note the discussion.

4.1  The Committee received the report of the Executive Director of Secretariat as background to putting questions to the following invited witnesses:

·  Dennis Hone, Interim Chief Executive, London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC);

·  Jonathan Dutton, Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services, LLDC; and

·  Neale Coleman, Director of London 2012 Coordination, Greater London Authority.

4.2  A transcript of the discussion is attached as Appendix 1.

4.3  John Biggs AM declared a non-pecuniary interest as a Governor of Birkbeck College.

4.4  During the course of the discussion, the Committee noted the following undertakings to provide the following items of additional information in writing:

·  Whether the LLDC is able to share the appendix to the confidential report on the Section 106 Park-wide agreement discussed at the LLDC Board meeting on 27 September;

·  Details of any grants from the Greater London Authority group towards social housing provision within the Olympic Park developments;

·  The extent to which the LLDC would be applying its resources to areas and communities outside the Park itself;

·  Details of Transport for London’s policy on sponsorship, which was expected to be published shortly;

·  Details of any plans LLDC has for a policy on sponsorship; and

·  Details of whether the ODA’s contractors had entered into contracts with companies which supply information about so-called blacklisted employees.
