The Committee is recommended to agree the report: Clearing the hurdles: transport for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

9.1  The Committee received the report of the Executive Director of Secretariat. In discussion, the Chair suggested that the Committee should write to the Olympic Delivery Authority about Southeastern’s proposals to run a reduced rail service in the Greenwich area during the 2012 Games.

9.2  Resolved:

(a)  That the report, Clearing the Hurdles: Transport for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, be agreed; and

(b)  That the Chair of the Transport Committee be given delegated authority to write on behalf of the Committee, and in consultation with party Group Lead Members, to the Olympic Delivery Authority about Southeastern’s proposals to run a reduced rail service in the Greenwich area during the 2012 Games.
