The Assembly is recommended to appoint Chairs and Deputy Chairs for the 2011/12 Assembly Year from the Members appointed to Committees under Item 7 to all Committees/bodies established under Item 5.

The Assembly is not asked to appoint a Chair and Deputy Chair to the Standards Committee – in accordance with Standing Order 11.2F, the Standards Committee elects its own Chair and Deputy Chair.]
Minutes:
8.1 The Chair called for nominations to the offices of Chair and Deputy Chair for each of the committees/bodies established by the Assembly in turn (with the exception of the Authority’s Standards Committee). The outcome of the election for each of those offices is set out in Appendices 1 and 2 to these minutes.
8.2 Resolved:
That, following elections for each position, the Chairs and Deputy Chairs for each of the established committees/ bodies be as set out at Appendices 1 and 2 to these minutes.
