Information about Environment Committee

The Environment Committee examines all aspects of the capital’s environment by reviewing the Mayor’s strategies on air quality, water, waste, climate change and energy, and considers what additional measures could be taken to help improve London’s quality of life. The Committee’s work will include any further proposals for airport expansion, the roll-out of HS2, as well as food waste management in London, severe weather and the key challenges emerging from the Mayor’s 20:20 Vision which sets out the need to increase London’s energy infrastructure.

Agendas, minutes and other papers for meetings of this Committee may be accessed at the link at the top of the page.
