The role of the Digital Creative, Science & Technology Working Group is to inform the London Enterprise Panel’s approach to:
a) maximise the economic impact from London’s research base: advise the Mayor on ways of attracting international R&D and supporting the commercialisation of London’s existing research;
b) business growth and entrepreneurship: help London meet the specific needs of science and tech firms to enable further growth and investment - from access to finance to infrastructure and skills;
c) promotion: support the Mayor’s promotional activity, including the attraction of major global events, that will strengthen London’s position as a global science and tech centre; and
d) work with other LEPs in the Greater South East to support the growth of science and technology businesses across the GSE.
