The City Intelligence Unit works at the centre of City Hall, serving the Mayor, the London Assembly, and ultimately London and Londoners. 

Our main purpose is to provide world-class evidence and analysis, which helps form strategies, policies and delivery plans for London. We cover varied topics, including: the economy, employment and skills, population studies, transport, tourism, crime, housing, and arts and culture, to name just a few.

We work continually to better understand London, its communities, its economy and its place in a rapidly changing wider world.
