About the role

We’re offering a permanent contract for the role of Executive Support Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our CEO and the executive support team.

 

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the organisation through which the Mayor of London exercises their role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for London and is led by the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. MOPAC undertakes a broad range of statutory duties and works closely with the Mayor of London, Deputy Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service to deliver the priorities that will create safer London communities.

 

In this role you will:

·                 Lead and manage the executive support team, helping to deliver reliable, confidential, and high-quality support.

·                 Foster a positive culture, promoting our values: integrity, openness, accountability, and collaboration.

 

This role is right at the centre of MOPAC and will have a crucial impact on our organisation and ensuring it is efficient. So, if you’re ready for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

1. What experience do you have supporting senior executives/principles, and how has that prepared you to lead a support team? 

 

2. Please give an example of your approach to acting as a 'gatekeeper'. How did you ensuring your executive was productive while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders? 

 

3. How would you describe your management style, and how do you motivate a team of administrative professionals?
