Volunteer your time at biggest ever ‘Run To Do Good’!
Team London is working with GoodGym, a charity that combines exercise with helping London's communities, to present the largest ever ‘Run To Do Good’.
Taking place on 1st June 2016, the event kicks off Volunteers' Week 2016. It also coincides with a month of volunteering events which will celebrate London's year as European Volunteering Capital.
Over 200 runners will leave Tower Bridge at 11.00am and will run between 1-3 kilometres to a wide range of local speed volunteering opportunities. Charities benefiting from the run include Providence Row who provides support services to the homeless and Downside Fisher Youth Club who provides services for socially excluded children.
Runners should arrive at City Hall by 10.15am to drop off their personal belongings, warm up and take part in a photocall in front of Tower Bridge. All runners will be back at City Hall around 1:00pm at the latest.
All runners must be registered in advance. Please sign up now and encourage your friends and colleagues to join in too.
