Chanukah in the Square 2015
Come and see the giant menorah lit up for Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights, in Trafalgar Square. The menorah will be on display from 6 until 14 December, with one of the lights lit each day.
In addition a free family celebration and lighting ceremony will take place on 10 December at 5.30 – 7.30pm. There’ll be live music with young musicians and school choirs, acapella group The Maccabeats, Neshama band, and the ever-spinning Dreidleman.
As an added bonus, everyone who comes along will get a free doughnut coinciding with the Chanukah tradition of eating oily foods. Hot food will also be served during the evening.
