Small Grants Scheme: In the Making

Applications are open

Small grants scheme, in the making, is a new funding programme for community projects that share our aim of embedding art, culture and heritage at the heart of the major development and regeneration planned for Old Oak and Park Royal.

We are offering micro-grants to support community arts, culture and heritage projects taking place in Old Oak and Park Royal, led by those living and working in the area.

We hope it will uncover, connect and showcase the culture, creativity and heritage of London’s largest and most vibrant industrial area.

The programme is part of the Great Place scheme, funded by the National Lottery, Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund and managed by OPDC.

How much funding is available?

In the making has a funding pot of £150,000 which will be distributed from January 2019 to December 2020.  OPDC will manage this budget across the two years to make sure money is available throughout.

How much funding can I get?

You can apply for a grant of £500 - £5,000.

You don’t need to have any other cash support for your project. In fact, we will prioritise projects where our funding will make a big difference to small projects. We are unlikely to fund projects where our funding makes up a small percentage of the overall project costs.

What can I get funding for?

Our grants can be used to fund arts, culture and heritage projects and activities taking place in Old Oak and Park Royal.

Projects must have Old Oak and Park Royal at its heart. They should offer shared creative experiences to bring local communities together. We will invest in projects that support people on lower incomes and connect communities that can otherwise miss out. ODPC’s Engagement Team may also be able to offer you support if your activity links with their work in the area.
