Biography

Kathleen, works in a job-share with Julia Slay, she is responsible for overseeing the delivery and implementation of the Mayor’s priorities and strategies on equality and fairness, social integration and community engagement.

Prior to joining the GLA in 2018, Kathleen worked as a consultant setting up the Big Lottery fund partnership funding programme. She started her career as a researcher at the University of Portsmouth and has held policy, research and advocacy roles at the National Housing Federation, Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. She has also worked in advice and advocacy roles for Citizens Advice and Shelter.

She holds degrees in Economics, Law and Criminal Justice Policy.
