Sarah Mulley

Interim Executive Director of Communities and Intelligence


Biography

Sarah, working part time in a job-share with Emma Strain, is responsible for overseeing the delivery and implementation of the Mayor’s priorities and strategies in policy areas including social integration, equality and fairness, culture and creative industries, health and education, volunteering, and sport. Sarah and Emma also oversee the work of the GLA’s City Intelligence Unit and Community Engagement Team. 

Prior to joining the GLA in 2015, Sarah spent seven years at the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) where she led work on migration, communities, employment and family policy.

Sarah started her career as an economist in HM Treasury, and has held a range of policy, research and advocacy roles in government and civil society organisations, working on both international and domestic issues.

Sarah represents the GLA on the board of London Funders.
