Young Londoners' Network

Make a difference

There are lots of children and young people in London whose voices are never heard by the people in power. The Young Londoner’s Network hopes to change that.

But what is the best way to get more children involved? Often, adults don’t really know how to listen to children and young people, or don’t know the best way to reach them. The people who probably know best are young Londoners themselves.

That’s why the Young Londoners Network has the Peer Outreach team to go out and speak to other young people their own age and find out what young Londoners really want.

What the Peer Outreach Team does

The Peer Outreach team can come out and visit your school, youth group or local estate. They will come and find out what you want to change about London and let you know more about how you can make a difference to your city and then they will come back and tell the people in charge!

They especially want to visit you if you would find it hard to come to an event or meeting and say what you think and would prefer to let someone your own age know what you have to say.
