LYNK UP Crew
Who can apply?
To apply to be part of the LYNK UP crew you must meet these criteria:
- Be aged between 7 and 18 years
- Live in Greater London
- Apply as a group (at least 3 people and no more than 5) you can be part of a local youth group, children's club, school, church, mosque, temple, synagogue or just a group of friends!
- Have an adult who will come with you to all meetings (this could be your worker or a parent or carer)
- Be able to come to meetings every 4 - 6 weeks (normally on a Saturday during school holidays)
- Agree to be part of the group for 1 year
- Be happy to travel to central London for meetings
We welcome applications from children and young Londoners from all different backgrounds and abilities. If you want to discuss what would make the LYNK UP crew meetings accessible and easy for you to take part in please call Rebecca on 020 7983 4769 for a chat.
We will be looking for 6 groups from across London to make up the LYNK UP crew
Travel expenses and food
All of your travel expenses will be paid to attend LYNK UP crew meetings and while you are here you will get lunch and snacks.
We can also cover the costs of support workers who are coming with children and young people who have disabilities.
