UK Youth Parliament – Battle of the Campaigns 2009
UK Youth Parliament wants young people aged 11-18 to cast their vote to help decide on three major youth campaigns for 2009.
There are 14 campaigns to choose from including:
- To improve the image of young people through the media and other community projects
- To eradicate child poverty in the UK
- To reduce teen pregnancy rates and raise awareness of sexual health & relationships from a young age
Voting starts on 20 April and will last for one week, after which the top six most popular campaigns will be debated and voted on by Members of the Youth Parliament (MYPs). The top three will then become official UK Youth Parliament campaigns.
If you want to take part, you'll need to register to vote on the UKUP website
