Calling all young filmmakers...If you're interested in making a short film about London (under three minutes), the BFI wants to hear from you. The Future Film competition is looking for entries from young filmmakers that show London as a vibrant city that's always on the go. Whether it's tubes, trains, skaters, bikers, dancers, joggers or even jugglers, there's plenty of inspiration around. The winning film will have a new soundtrack specially written and recorded by Ronnie Scott’s house band and will have a chance to go into the BFI National Archive! Films will be judged by a celebrity panel and the top five films will be screened at BFI Southbank. To find out more, visit the website: www.bfi.org.uk/futurefilm The deadline for entries is: 18 May This competition is part of the Story of London festival, a month of events happening this June.
