Olympic boroughs launch VAULT film project for young Londoners
If you’re aged 14-19, interested in film and live in the Olympic boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Waltham Forest, Greenwich and Tower Hamlets read on.
VAULT is a youth film training project aimed at developing filmmaking skills whilst also looking at life in London during the 1948 Olympics and in the run up to 2012.
On 27 September, VAULT will take over Brady Arts Centre for a day of film screenings, workshops and insider tips on getting into the film industry. There’ll also be live music performances, plus celebrity guests and a goody bag of great film gifts for everyone who comes along!
There’s also a chance to win a top of the range video camera, while 45 lucky youngsters will get to work with the East End Film Festival to produce a series of short films looking at the London Olympics past and present.
