Listen up London - Reel Change film launched

A hard-hitting new film showing life in London for young people has just been launched. ‘Hear me Out’ is the product of the Tower Hamlets Summer University programme Reel Change and features interviews with young people talking about their lives.

Over 100 teenage students from across London helped to create the documentary which shows young people calling for role models and mentors to help beat youth crime.

Mayor Boris Johnson said: "This film is a remarkable achievement for all the young people involved and gives real insight into views on youth crime…

“I think the young filmmakers have a great talent and a promising future ahead of them.”
