84% of young Londoners think the 2012 Games will be a good thing for London
A new survey, commissioned by the Greater London Authority, has found that 84% of young people think that the 2012 Games will be a good thing for London, more so than by adults. The findings also found young people think the Games will be good for them in the long-term.
- 43% think it will mean more children participate in sport
- 31% think there will be an increase in tourism
- 25% think it will mean better leisure facilities
- 21% think there will be an increase in business and job opportunities
