Host Boroughs Unit
5HB Young Entrepreneurs Tsu’Chu Biz Cup Final
The Tsu’Chu Biz London courses use football as a way to focus on wider subjects:
-
Entrepreneurship
- Business finance
- Teamwork
- Leadership
- Stress management and
- Personal development.
Based in the five Host Boroughs, East London, the 'cup final' competition will stretch the knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm of participants.
This project gets is name from the original for football - Tsu’Chu - from Ancient China, 2500 BC and still played today!
The course aims to capture each young person’s passion and interests and turn them into something they love to work at, to encourage enthusiasm for further and higher education and an ‘I can do this’ attitude!
Each team developed a business plan from ideas developed in the course linked to the opportunities the Olympics can generate in the Host Boroughs. At the end of the course, the young people gave presentations highlighting their entrepreneurial idea in front of family and friends and a panel of successful entrepreneur judges. The judges then identified the business case they thought should be progressed.
It is these projects that have gone forward to the 5HB Young Entrepreneurs Tsu’Chu cup final on 16 November at London’s Living Room in City Hall. The five chosen projects will work with business mentors to gain valuable experience before they battle it out to identify the champion business plan. |
