Olympic Delivery Authority

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) is building the Olympic Park and all that involves! As a part of this, the ODA has many projects for children and young people, such as the Construction Crew, which is about working with young people and helping them to become London 2012 ambassadors. The ODA guides the Crew on regular visits to the Olympic Park where they meet the most important people involved with the building work. They learn interesting facts and figures and are always improving their leadership skills.

Another project ‘stay safe, stay out’ has worked with thousands of young people from the schools, houses and flats nearest to where the ODA is building. The project uses drama to help young people think about how best to stay safe when living or playing close to a construction site. The ODA wants to be a good and responsible neighbour.

It has also worked with schools on art and design projects and hosts regular Olympic Park tours. A number of local students have also done work experience with the ODA and contractors working on the Park.
