Supporter To Reporter (s2r) is an international online community that gives young people the chance to take their passion for sport to a global audience and develop career opportunities in the media. Each student reporter has their own web page where they can publish podcasts, video and blogs. Anyone can then watch, listen and comment on these stories. Their contacts include Sky Sports, Manchester United, Premier Rugby and Lancashire Country Cricket Club.
This enables young people to:
- meet and learn from sporting
- media professionals and their sports heroes
- practice the latest media skills in a real-life environment
- build their confidence,
- communication and team working skills.
