Harrow Youth Council

Hi - we are a group of 13-19 year olds co-operating to change things for the better for young people in Harrow.

We make a positive difference by giving young people in Harrow a voice and representing young people's opinions to the council, at conferences and in decision-making generally.

We reckon Harrow is a good area to live in. It's one of the safest boroughs in London with one of the lowest crime rates, it has good schools and sports facilities, and it's only 40 minutes away from either the countryside or the centre of London.

On the downside, you usually have to go out of Harrow if you want to have a good time. If you want interesting stuff like cinemas and skate parks, you really have to look for it. Also there's loads of traffic and litter, and we don't like the rich/poor divide.
