The best thing about Newham is that The Stratford Centre is close by. It’s the only shopping centre there is in East London.

At least it’s easy enough to get transport in Newham, when it’s running on time. And if you like fast food, this is the place for you.

There’s always something going on in Newham and there’s always somewhere to go. There’s a lot of interesting people, whether they’re rude or really nice. Because I’ve lived here for such a long time, I just love it because I feel at home here.

The best thing is the organisations that involve us in exciting trips and ask us about our views. I like the diversity of this area - the mix of different cultures and amount of freedom we have to actually take part in things. The hustle and bustle makes a lively atmosphere to the society.

I also like the free travel on buses for teens under 18, yay! I love being able to hop on to a train for half-price with my Oyster card and go to gigs and get to Camden in less than half an hour. I love trains.
