Spirit of London Awards launched

A fab new awards scheme aimed at recognising the talent of London’s young people has just been launched. The Spirit of London Awards is for young Londoners who have acted as role models in their community.

So far over 1,000 youngsters have been nominated in the eight awards categories that include music, arts, education and sports, as well as a London Legend award.

Mayor of London Boris Johnson said, ‘It's time we sung the praises of young people. It's time we unleashed their talents’.
