Playday 2007 goes green!

LHP TrailerThis year's Playday will be extra-specially green thanks to the London Hydrogen Partnership and Camden and Croydon Councils who are providing a 3kW Fuel Cell Trailer to provide clean energy for the event.

The London Hydrogen Partnership is working to make this type of technology a reality in the capital. It will help to improve our air quality, reduce greenhouse gases and noise, improve energy security and support London’s green economy. Hydrogen fuel cells don’t produce any emissions, only water vapour! This makes them a particularly clean form of energy.

To find out more about the Partnership's work or see which other events the fuel cell will be at, visit www.lhp.org.uk

The LHP are also running the London Schools Hydrogen Challenge which aims to raise awareness about hydrogen, fuel cells and their applications amongst 11-14 Secondary School children. To register your school, ask your teacher to visit www.lshc.co.uk
