The Bromley reporters

We've done enough talking! This is where we step aside and let young Londoners take over. Different groups of young Londoners will be using this space for interviews, reviews, and to talk about their experiences of growing-up in the capital.

Meet the reporters

Hello! We're the children from the Bromley 'Moving on to Secondary School' project. We helped plan the International Children's Day event. We're writing to tell you what's been happening since Children's Day, which we celebrated at City Hall in London on 20th November 2004.

Children from 16 London boroughs took photos showing a day in their lives. This was part of a Children's Fund project to celebrate Children's Day. They wanted to hear what we had to say about London and how to make it a better place for children. So we split up into groups to talk about living in London and what we thought about issues like safety, asylum seekers, health and money.

A couple of months later, on 2 February, we went back to City Hall to talk to the people who help the Mayor make London a better place. We wanted to find out what they'd learnt from us on International Children's Day. Here's what they said...
