Become a guest editor
What does a ‘Guest Editor’ do?
Every few months a new group of children and young people from across London will become Guest Editors of the Mayor of London’s Young London website. If you are a ‘Guest Editor’ you get to decide what goes on this section of the website. You decide what topics you want to talk about. It has to have something to do with London, but apart from that could be anything from what you think of bullying, football, music or how you can make your community a better place. The main thing is to remember that this is about your experience of growing up in London.
Remember this is a chance to express yourself! You can get really creative on the ‘Guest Edited’ section. You can:
- Write articles
- Interview people
- Make a voice recording of your opinions to put on the website
- Take photos or draw pictures
- Make a video for the website
- Express yourself through poetry or lyrics
