Summer
Now must be the best time of year to get out and thoroughly explore your local wildlife sites. So why not make the most of them this summer, after the washout of 2007! Wildlife abounds in the balmy days and nights of summer; the air literally hums with insect life, songbirds try for second and maybe third broods of chicks, while relentless waves of wildflowers refresh an ever-changing rainbow palate on our meadows, downlands and heaths.
