Our Health and Public Services Committee has written to London Councils, in response to the current review of the London boroughs' grants scheme.

Our letter states the Committee's support for focusing grant funding under the scheme on strategic, pan-London services. It highlights the need to define clearly what pan-London services are, to consider how boroughs could work together at a sub-regional level and to ensure there are appropriate transitional arrangements for services subject to funding changes.
