Mayor's Cultural Strategy
15 NOVEMBER 2010
A vision for culture across London
The Mayor's Cultural Strategy sets out his vision, priorities and recommendations for how to strengthen the cultural life of Londoners across the capital.
It recognises the significance of the cultural and creative sectors in making London a successful world city, and puts forward a case for its continued support and investment - particularly in the run up to the 2012 Olympics and the opportunity it presents for London to undertake a step change in cultural activity and participation.
The final version of the strategy was launched by the Mayor on 15 November 2010.

Why is there no sculpture park in London? Could the Olympic Park be turned into a sculpture park run by the Tate with tickets for the shuttle boat going from Tate Britain - Tate Modern - down to the O2 by the Anthony Gormley sculpure - over the new cable car to the DLR and the sculpture park in the Olympic site. Tate to Tate to Tate and couldnt some of the Serpentine Pavilions be relocated to the Olympic Park?
