Capital Spending Plan 2012-13
The Mayor is required, under section 122 of the Greater London Authority (GLA) Act 1999, to prepare, for each financial year, a capital spending plan for the functional bodies: the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPC), London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) and Transport for London (TfL). The plan also includes the plan for the core GLA as well as the Olympic Park Legacy Company which is due to become a Mayoral Development Corporation in 2012. The final Capital Spending Plan for 2012-13 was published on 27 February 2012.
GLA Council Tax Precept for 2012-13
The Mayor approved the council tax precept for 2012-13 in Mayoral Decision 950. The council tax for a Band D property in 2012-13 in the 32 London boroughs is £306.72 (a 1 percent reduction compared to 2011-12). The precept in the City of London - which has its own police force - is £78.62.
Mayor’s Final Budget for 2012-13
The Mayor’s final draft consolidated budget (as amended by the supplementary agenda item below) was approved unamended by the London Assembly at its meeting on 9 February.

Consultation Budget and Draft Capital Spending Plan for 2012/13
On 21 December 2011 the Mayor published his consultation budget (including his draft Capital Spending Plan) for the GLA and GLA group for 2012/13. The closing date for responses is 13 January 2012. Responses should be sent by email to david.gallie@london.gov.uk.
