The MOPAC-MPS Oversight Board was established to enable the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime to effectively exercise the role and duties of the Police and Crime Commissioner for the Metropolis, as delegated by the Mayor of London.

To enable greater attention on a range of issues, Oversight Board alternates its focus between two themes, the terms of reference of which can be found below.

Oversight Board decision making

The Oversight Board does not take formal decisions. The Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime makes formal decisions in line with the scheme of delegation.

On this page we publish notes and papers from the MOPAC/MPS Oversight Board. In the interests of transparency we endeavour to publish as much as possible, as quickly as possible from these meetings. However, the complex and sometimes sensitive nature of the issues discussed may mean that some items are restricted for important operational/security reasons, or that a response takes some time to be prepared.
