Comparison of air quality in London with a number of world cities

A comparison of air quality in cities around the world has been published, undertaken by AMEC Environment & Infrastructure UK Ltd, commissioned by the GLA. A new ranking system was developed and used to assess air quality in 36 cities against three indices: Citywide; Citywide/Traffic; and Health impacts. The comparison is intended to be viewed as a benchmark against which efforts to improve air quality in London can be assessed.
