Newham's Final Frontier

The Newham Final Frontier Festival showcased the best of Canning Town’s local talent. Encouraging residents to get involved in a range of exciting creative activities, to improve their health and mental well being.

Well London funded 11 local artists and organisations to deliver activities in the local area. These activities included Rosetta Arts Centre and a soap sculpture workshop, Blue Pacific and a salsa evening (which was attended by over 100 people). Jane Riches ran an arts walk through the area and THE Hubs social committee organised an afternoon Tea Dance and show. The Final Frontier Festival was organised by West Ham & Plaistow NDC in partnership with Well London.

Well London will commission further arts and creative opportunities for Well London areas. Look out for further information, including how to apply coming soon. Alternatively email bcbw@artscouncil.org.uk to be added to the mailing list.
