Managing Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square, the iconic world-famous public square in central London, is managed by the Greater London Authority.

The vision for Trafalgar Square is as the symbolic heart of London - a lively and accessible place to be enjoyed by Londoners and visitors alike. The square may be used, subject to booking in advance, for a wide range of activities including: rallies and demonstrations; filming and photography; and promotional events.

The Greater London Authority also manages Parliament Square.

Did you know?

Since the square was pedestrianised in 2003, visitor numbers have increased by 200 per cent.
