Booking the square
Trafalgar Square is used for a wide range of events and activities throughout the year, including rallies and demonstrations, filming and photographic shoots, and promotional and performance based events. Fourth PlinthA statue of Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park is on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square for six months from 4 November 2009. In summer 2009, as part of the programme of specially commissioned art works on the Fourth Plinth, Antony Gormley's 'One & Other' saw the plinth occupied by different people every hour, 24 hours a day, for 100 days.
