Growth sectors

The London economy is constantly changing. In an environment where high productivity and creativity are at a premium, dynamic emerging sectors, which could help sustain the capital's economic success and extend its scope for growth are important. They include e-business related activities and an effective Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure, the creative industries, and the environmental industries. Tourism is also a key growth industry, which is discussed further in Chapter 3, Part D.
