Industrial land in London accommodates not only manufacturing, where employment is projected to decline, but a range of other activities essential to London's wider success.

Chapter 2 outlines the broad quantum and distribution of industrial land which might be released to other uses in light of this decline and as a result of more effective land use management. The sub regional dimensions to this policy are set out in Chapter 5 and SRIFs.
