4C.12 Support facilities and activities in the Blue Ribbon Network

The Mayor will and boroughs should protect waterway support facilities, infrastructure and activities. New support facilities, infrastructure and activities that support use and enjoyment of the Blue Ribbon Network should be encouraged, especially in areas of deficiency and as part of development in Opportunity Areas. The criteria set out in paragraph 4.172 should be used to assess proposals for the redevelopment of existing facilities and sites for other uses.
