Noise

As it becomes a more compact, even busier city, London will need a more vigorous approach to noise reduction at the strategic and local level. At the strategic level, main roads, major rail corridors and aircraft are the principal sources of ambient noise. Reducing aircraft noise should be a priority for government, which is responsible for regulation at airports.
