Team London stars was launched in June this year. With the support of our media partner, Archant London 24, hundreds of nominations have been received. Londoners have been nominating their volunteering stars for a Team London certificate of recognition and thanks from the Mayor.
Thank you for your Team London Star nominations. Please note that while we are continuing to accept nominations, there will now be a brief delay in the awarding of certificates due to pre-election period. The process will resume at the beginning of May.
We have been inspired to learn about the many Londoners who volunteer regularly, helping friends, neighbours, relatives and their local community, to make real difference. For this reason we have decided to share some of their stories more widely. Throughout November and December you will see a number of our Team London stars in an advertising campaign on tube posters, the internet and the newspapers.
