Need volunteers?

Voluntary action has long been part of London’s DNA. Organisations that support and promote volunteers and volunteering help make London one of the best cities in the world.

The Mayor recognises the funding difficulties that the voluntary sector currently faces and will use his position to champion the importance of a healthy and adequately-funded volunteering infrastructure in London.

We’ll build on our relationship with the 135 organisations consulted during the development phase of Team London to ensure that we keep moving in the right direction. Team London will also help build volunteer capacity through our small grants fund and use the Mayor’s influence to connect the voluntary sector with additional skills and resources from the private and public sectors.

If so, why not use our form to Create a Team London opportunity and share details of how people can help you out - you can advertise the time and location of your volunteer activity, post an image or a video and allow people to contact you directly to lend a hand.

Are your volunteers amazing? Put them forward for as a London Star, with a chance to receive a Team London Certificate from the Mayor, through our Nominate Your Star appeal.
